The final question was what Nino was like as a child, and his mother’s answers were really funny, but sweet. “He was easily scared, so when we would be waiting in line for a roller coaster, his stomach would suddenly start to hurt.” (Definitely sounds like Nino. XD) Next cute fact was, “If I didn’t clean his ears, he couldn’t sleep at night.” Of course Nino was looking super embarrassed by this point. “In pre-school, he was so nervous for a performance once that he sang the song in his sleep.”
Jun pulled out a letter from Nino’s mother to wrap it up. “Kazu, Happy Birthday! At 3900 grams you were a huge baby born with a large head. As a child you were often in the hospital, sick and with ear infections. We went to the emergency room too. It must have been so hard for you with fevers on and off. But I’m thankful that you don’t have problems now. In elementary school they got better and you learned a lot even though you didn’t want to go to class. You even pretended to sleep at piano lessons. You played baseball, though, didn’t you? You made people smile. When you come home you always say, “thank you,” to me.” It was dated at the end and signed with Nino’s mother.From boblemon’s lj.
